ELECTRODYNAMICS Engineering Center Takes an Active Part in the Repairs at Nuclear Power Plants.

From 2020 to 2021, at the Leningrad NPP, we perform installation and adjustment supervision during installation work on the on-load regulator (OLR).

From 2020 to 2021, at the Kola NPP, we:

  • Upgrade hermetic hatches of the sealed enclosure of Unit No. 2.
  • Repair crane runways of external facilities.

In 2020, at the Kola NPP, we are performing:

  • Overhaul of production and administrative rooms.
  • Construction and installation works to implement automation chemical control cooling systems for stator windings of TG-1-8 generators.

In 2020, the components of the sealed enclosures of Units No. 1,2,3,4 were repaired at the Kola NPP.

From 2019 to 2021, at the Kola NPP, we are involved in control the technological processes of 110-330 kV transformers: Control of standard operating technological procedures during the operation and repair of 110-330 kV power transformers.

From 2019 to 2020, at the Kola NPP, we implement lighting devices using LEDs in the lighting network.

From 2019 to 2020, at the Kola NPP, we upgraded the hermetic hatches of the sealed enclosure of Unit 1.

In 2019, at the Kola NPP, we:

  • Repaired components of the sealed enclosures of Units No. 1, 3, 4.
  • Upgraded components of the sealed enclosure of Unit No. 2.
  • Mounted anti-ram devices in the security zone.

From 2018 to 2020, at the Kola NPP, we:

  • Repaired the rooms of the boron regulation unit.
  • Repaired building structures of the industrial buildings and structures.

In 2018, we repaired the surface and protective layer of water covers (chambers) and tube plates of oil coolers of the Rostov NPP turbine room using cold-curing polymer composite materials (PCM).

In 2018, at the Smolensk NPP, we performed the maintenance of 15D100 diesel engines of the reserve diesel power plant of Unit 3 of the Smolensk NPP in the amount of the maintenance TO-4.

In 2018, at the Kursk NPP, we performed work:

  • According to the technical guidance during the overhaul of the transformer.
  • According to the technical guidance during the repair and assembly work with the inspection of the active part of the transformer.

In 2018, at the Kola NPP, we:

  • Overhauled administrative and production rooms: Repair of the inspection ditch of the railway junction. Repair of premises SBK-428, 526-528, and 530-533.
  • Repaired components of the sealed enclosures of Units No. 1, 2, 3, 4.
  • Upgraded the hermetic doors and hatches of the sealed enclosure of Unit No. 2.
  • Upgraded the ventilation and air conditioning systems in the rooms of the Kola NPP.

From 2017 to 2019, we performed work according to the technical guidance during the overhauls of shunt reactors (transformers) at the Kursk NPP.

In 2017, we upgraded the railway tracks of the standby diesel generator power plant of Stages 1 and 2 at the industrial site of the Kola NPP. At the first instance, the wooden railway sleepers were replaced with reinforced concrete ones. A new turnout switch was mounted with a new type of rails. Process pipelines (transformer oil, turbine oil, diesel fuel) were laid from the receiving devices of railway tank cars to the existing pipelines for the oil equipment room. A metering unit for receiving fuels and lubricants from railway tanks was mounted. A discharge jetty was mounted in the area of Diesel-generating standby electric power plants 1 and 2. A fire alarm system was mounted. The sites were improved by concreting and fencing with curb stones.

In 2017, the repair of the containment components of Units No. 3, 4 was finished at the Kola NPP. The hermetic doors and hatches of the sealed enclosure of Unit No. 1 at the Kola NPP were upgraded. In addition, the components of the sealed enclosure of Unit No. 2 at the Kola NPP were upgraded. Power lines of electric boilers of the electric boiler house in Polyarnye Zori were upgraded.

In 2016, we:

  • Prepared a DG-8 diesel generator for inspection and technical inspection at the Kursk NPP.
  • Repaired the monitoring system of the VVER-440 reactor vessel SK187.04M at the Novovoronezh NPP.

That same year, we overhauled the power supply networks in the rooms of Units 3, 4 at the Kola NPP, and overhauled the power supply networks of the equipment of the electric shop at the Kola NPP.

In 2014, at the Kola NPP, we repaired in order to:

  • Increase the density of the power unit containment. Unit 3, 4.
  • Restore metal structures of cable routes of electrical devices and control and measuring equipment of the BNS-2 modular pumping station.
  • Upgrade the additional emergency feed system for steam generators consisting in equipping sheds near the denitrification plant and SK-2 buildings.
  • Install, dismantle Layher Allround systems scaffolding, Layher Protective system protective structures on the equipment, pipelines and facilities of the Kola NPP.
  • Restore metal structures of cable routes of electrical devices and control and measuring equipment of the AO-2 Unit 3.
  • Increase the fire safety of Units 1-4 in terms of making the low-voltage welding network of the turbine department of Units 1-4 at the Kola NPP consistent with the requirements of the ND (OSART).
  • Repair the lighting network of the territory of ORU-110; 154; 330kV outdoor switchgear in preparation for the OSART mission.
  • Repair the safety fences (screens, boxes) of equipment and pipelines in the controlled area at the Kola NPP.
  • Repair and bring into proper technical condition the hanger-support system of equipment and pipelines at the Kola NPP.

In 2013, at the Novovoronezh NPP, we repaired 12ZV 40/48 Diesel Generator No. 3 in scope of TO-5 maintenance.

In 2013, the tightness of the containment of Units 3, 4 of the Kola NPP was increased.

From 2011 to 2013, at the Smolensk NPP, we supervised and issued recommendations for further operation during the overhaul of TTS-630000/500 transformers.
